Q 1. Your thoughts on home decor.
To bring alive your feelings and thoughts in your home in any form is joyous
A tangible way is looking at how one does up space to make a house a home.
I love an airy feel to any space and don’t like tumbling over furniture. My favourite things include muted backgrounds like a soft-toned curtain or sofas on which colours pop up like jewels.
Q2. What has your experience with VLiving been like?
VLiving has an eclectic palette – I love the way they pick up various indigenous art and craft forms and incorporate them in their products
One extremely important service they offer is customization. One is never at a loss when dealing with an odd size furniture if VLiving is your partner. They offer interesting proposals and willingly go out of their way to customize products. Moreover, they are open to customer feedback and suggestions.
As far as their products go, VLiving’s finish is impeccable – no trailing threads, smooth good quality zippers, no uneven stitching, among other great things. As customer I have discarded many products from other vendors because finish has been of low quality but that has never been the case with VLiving.
Q 3. You said you own cushions , poufs, trays, katha denim bed set , oven mitts, apron & tea cloth…. how has each product added value to your living space?
All VLiving products have been a talking point with guests and visitors some time or the other.
The poufs adorn my holiday home in Alibaug – they are comfortable & sturdy – they do not topple ! Poufs & their matching cushion covers with their intricate embroidery have always elicited compliments.
Different sets of cushion covers have sent my guests browsing VLiving website – I am delighted to have a diverse collection. From pastel silks, Vintage cotton, bright & bold reds & blacks, to stylized florals, jewel print, the list goes on.
The katha denim bedset is a dream – soft soothing stone washed cotton with printed paisley cushion as an offset
The apron, oven mitts, tea cloth – all kitchen accessories are trendy and give my kitchen a showroom tinge
Q.4 Of the products you own, which are your favourite and why?
This is a very difficult question to answer, I can never choose my favourite child.
Each product has been bought with appreciation & love – some as a requirement, some as indulgence – and all because of their inherent appeal to my sensibilities. My advice to those who love style and comfort & decorating their own space
